Secret Restaurant Recipes Reviewed

Being a big restaurant food fan, I had gone to a restaurant a few weeks backs and happened to try a new dish there. It was just out of the world! I had never eaten anything so delicious. I came home and decided to try making it the next day. Even after spending hours in the kitchen and taking care of adding just the right quantity of every ingredient, I still ended up with something that was not only awful in appearance but also in taste. All my effort ended up in the dustbin! Frankly, this wasn't the first time it had happened with me. I could never end up cooking the food with the restaurant aroma and flavour. I knew that I needed to know the secret ingredients and the special ingredients to make the exact replica. It was then that I got to know of the website Secret Restaurant Recipes.

There are many websites online that list the various tempting recipes but the problem with these sites is that they charge a handsome subscription fees to access the wide database. This is where the website Secret Restaurant Recipes bags the trophy as it does not require any kind of fees. The way this site works is by the way of a forum where people discuss their dishes and also get the recipes that want to try at home. This recipe database is updated regularly so the one can keep trying new recipes.

Secret Restaurant Recipes also offers a daily newsletter 'Daily dish'. People wanting to learn new recipes can subscribe and learn new recipes everyday and that too completely free of cost. These recipes include variety of cakes, bread, chicken, meat, turkey and vegetables. These recipes are emailed to the subscribers on a daily basis. One can also access the blog in this website. Again, people from all over the world write in this blog. RSS News Feed has also been enabled on this blog to ensure that all subscribers are informed timely of any new recipes or replies to any queries posted on the website The website also advertises a gift shop where one can buy kitchen products such as coffee mugs, aprons, chef hats as well as t-shirts but there is no kind of obligation on the subscribers.

Though there are many recipes listed on the website Secret Restaurant Recipes, if one still needs to try something completely different and exotic, one can always go ahead and buy the cookbook offered by this website. This book contains the mouth-watering recipes from your favourite restaurants such as KFC, Red Lobster, Chillies, The Cheesecake Factory and the Olive Garden. Just imagine all those amazing treats right on your dining table. I should mention again at this point that buying this cook book is completely optional. The unlimited, lifetime access to these recipes is given to those subscribers who buy this cookbook. In addition, a book of secret sauces is also offered to the subscribers, free of cost, in addition to the cookbook. In fact, there are other bonus gifts to be added to this list which include various other guides- guide to master the art of grilling; guide to tasty food for diabetics; guide to make American comfort food; guide to recipes for special occasions and a special cookbook with great recipes for the kids. I must say, a great deal!

Most of these recipes are tried and tested. I, personally have my house running on these recipes. My guests think that I actually order food from outside. I could not get a better compliment than this and I just smile back!

I added chopped sun-dried tomatoes, a little of their oil, let it cool on plastic wrap, rolled it, tossed it in the fridge for a while then sliced it, fried it and used it with the morrocan chicken recipe from this site. Next time, I'll try parm & basil and put a nice red sauce over it. Thanks so much, this has added a nice starch to my side dish recipes and staples. Was this review helpful? [ YES ]

Vegetarian Delights at Raw Food Restaurants

Raw food restaurants are being seen in more and more locales all across the United States and other countries as well, and as a result vegetarians are very happy to have more choices. This increase in restaurants that feature such foods is just a part of the living food movement that is flourishing and which is bringing some new ideas in taste, color and texture to American restaurant goers.

Those who live the raw vegetarian or raw vegan lifestyle are quite familiar with the tastes and textures of a raw food diet, yet most average folks are uninitiated to this aspect until they encounter such a food restaurant and sit down to partake in eating this type of food. This trend started just a few years ago and is catching on and growing significantly.

While some people might immediately think of small, homey, hole-in-the-wall joints when they first hear someone mention such food restaurants, that is no longer an accurate description of many of these eateries. Instead, with the raw food movement finding favor with people from all walks of life and attracting celebrity enthusiasts, you are just as likely to find the raw food restaurant nearest you to be an upscale, trendy eatery offering the haute cuisine of living foods.

Even many famous and well-known traditional chefs are seeking out the gourmet offerings at their local raw food restaurant in order to learn about the living raw cuisine. As they observe the chef and sneak some peeks at a recipe or two, these classic chefs are discovering a whole new way of presenting and preparing such a food in ways that offer a surprising array of diverse, visually pleasing and delightful taste sensations.

More and more often, these restaurants that offer raw foods are sprouting up and enjoying increased visibility in strip malls, in upscale neighborhoods, in renovated houses in up and coming areas, along major thoroughfares, and even in prime stand-alone locations. In fact, in many instances from the exterior, such a food restaurant may appear to be just another inviting cafe or diner that is designed to make people feel warm and welcomed.

Since raw food recipes are prepared and created without using the conventional cooking methods common to traditional restaurants, you will discover that the kitchens are quite different in appearance and function. You won't find an oven or stove top in sight, or a bank of microwave ovens. In fact, you won't even find something as simple and mundane as a can opener.

What you will find in the kitchens are various appliances such as food processors, various types of juicers, high-powered blenders and dehydration units. This is all that is needed for raw food cooking and preparing a menu filled with living food meals.

People who engage in the living raw lifestyle primarily eat fresh fruits and uncooked vegetables, as well as nuts, seeds, grains, legumes and sprouts. Many say they feel better, more energetic and enjoy better health overall by following such a food diet and some even report that illness and disease has been reversed. Since all of these benefits are avidly being sought out by many, including the baby boomer generation, it is likely that more raw food restaurants will be seen in greater numbers.

The reviewer gave this recipe 5 stars. This recipe averages a 4.3 star rating. I have made this many times, and while it is wonderful as is, I have tweaked it to make it a little healthier. First, I add some carrots and celery to increase the veggie content, and only use about 3/4 - 1 cup peanut butter, which is plenty. If you find this is not thick enough, I sometimes make a cornstarch slurry to give it the same consistency as the original. I also use fire-roasted tomatoes in this, as it adds a particular rustic flavor to it. Either way, this soup is requested all the time at my work parties! Was this review helpful? [ YES ]

Tips For Gourmet Food Recipes

When you talk about a gourmet dish, it usually means that there are lots of intricate steps involved in its creation. Naturally, gourmet food recipes tend to feature ingredients that are more expensive than what you would normally use. Because of this, such recipes are often closely guarded family secrets only used on special occasions.

One of the best sources of a good gourmet recipe is right at home. Nearly every family will have a number of heirloom recipes. The various permutations and modifications they've undergone helped them achieve their current legendary status. Usually, only one family member has the knack of cooking a particular dish to perfection. That means your mother is the go-to person for the perfect roast chicken, while Aunt Alice makes the best lasagna anyone has ever tasted. It's unlikely these are healthy gourmet recipes, but that's why they're so special. Once you've obtained the recipe, you're free to modify it to suit your tastes and possibly create a new one of your own.

The internet is a great place to look for gourmet food recipes if your relatives are stingy with information or inspiration. You can be confident about using recipes like these as, more often than not; they are tested, critiqued and rated by an army of like-minded netizens. The changes, suggestions and modifications to any given recipe are extremely helpful to a novice cook who's looking to put their own spin on a gourmet dish. By carrying out your research, you can also look up recipes based on their main component.

You can always try to recreate a dish you've enjoyed in an upscale restaurant. People tend to balk at trying anything labeled "gourmet" due to the perceived high cost. However, attempting healthy gourmet recipes in your own home will always cost less than forking out an exorbitant amount on a restaurant meal. Think of the flavors you remember from the meal and look up a recipe for reference if you must. It's highly likely you'll arrive at the final result through your own trial and error. If that doesn't work for you, try cooking a regular meal, like steak-and-kidney pie, but with the best ingredients you can find. You'll probably find that they make a whole world of difference!

At the end, I'd like to share cool website with more details on topics like gourmet food recipes. Visit for more details.
