Spicy Authentic Mexican Recipes

When you want the real deal, only authentic Mexican recipes will do. These are not the recipes you find on the ordering board in a fast food chain. Instead, you will find these in old fashioned Mexican restaurants and south of the border. The dishes are unique and full of flavors. From pork dishes to beef ones and even vegetarian delights, there is something that will certainly meet the dietary needs of anyone in your family and with how easy they are to create, you don't have to worry about slaving away for hours for a single meal.

One of the most popular authentic Mexican recipes you will find is the soup option. It is very popular to have soups and stews in Mexico, especially since these dishes can easily feed a large number of people without too much trouble at all. In fact, a large family will often create a series of dishes created from the different parts of the meats begin offered to utilize what they have, instead of focusing on a general style of item as well. This means that the entire animal will often be used during the course of meals. While some people might be bothered by this process, others will respect it and find that some of these delicacies are among the best they have ever had.

What you will also learn about these different authentic Mexican recipes is that they can be adjusted spice wise to fit your level of comfort. While some people will be able to handle really spicy foods, others will only enjoy a light heat coming from them. It is because of this you should spice down your foods if you have people who do not like spicy and offer a topping others can use to get the bite they need.

Keep in mind that even with the variety you have, some people might shy away from some of the dishes that are created. If you are going for a general theme, you might consider going with a Tex-Mex substitute to tide over those picky eaters that you have.

Traditional Beef Soup

What You Will Need

1 Large beef bone with marrow
3 Beef bones with pieces of chambarete
1/4 Cup Onion
1 Tablespoon Fresh Cilantro
3 Cut Potatoes
1 Cup Fresh Peas
Salt & Pepper

How to Make It

Begin by cooking the meat and bones in about 6 cups of water and mix in the garlic and cilantro. This should be done over medium high heat. As foam forms on the top, be sure you skim it off to ensure the flavor of the broth does not get too intense. When you have a good amount of foam off, bring the water to a boil, and allow the meat to soften. When this occurs, add in your potatoes and peas and then let them cook at medium high heat until they become soft. Remove any last minute foam and then salt and pepper to taste. Serve warm.

Authentic Mexican recipes can enhance the experience you have with the food from the Mexican culture. Take the time to explore the different Mexican recipes and you will find there are a series of different foods that you will not find in most restaurants.

Secrets to Famous Restaurant Recipes

Using the right quantities and combinations of herbs is one of the secrets to recreate some of the famous restaurant recipes. Chefs all across use different type of herbs to add unique flavor profile to their secret recipes. I will show you some of these herbs and explain how they could be used successfully.

Basil one of my favorites to use in soups or sauces through out the cooking process, it's a sweet delicate herb that when used fresh can brown easily, so make sure to include it in at the end of the cooking.

Rosemary's flavor is unmistakable, it's woody and its strong aroma can easily overpower a dish, make sure you use it sparingly and it goes well with basil at the start of cooking, you can throw the entire stem in soups or remove the stem and crush them with salt, pepper and olive oil and rub them on a roast. One great way to use it is to add it to your steak while pan searing it.

Dill is a sweet herb that can give you a light flavor to any famous restaurant recipe, take fish for example, finely chopping the dill to sprinkle on top of a salmon with lemon juice and baking it in the oven is a very simple recipe that highlights the dill and gives your fish the feeling of that secret recipe.

Ginger is a bit spicy with excellent healing powers to help reduce inflammation, used in cooking could easily overpower a dish, so use lightly. Fresh herbs are essential to add different layer of flavors and enhancing your dishes to make any average cook look like a chef. Using different combination and quantities of these herbs like top chefs due in their famous restaurant recipes is very easy to do and any one can learn.

The Secret to Cooking Restaurant Recipes at Home

There is no question about it, everyone loves to eat out. But eating in restaurants can be expensive. But enjoying your favorite restaurant recipes doesn't have to cost you an arm and a leg. Why not whip up your favorite restaurant recipes right in your own kitchen?

The beauty of making restaurant recipes at home is that typically you can make them healthier, cheaper, and if you know what you're doing, even better than the real thing. Now the down side of course is that it will take a little more time and energy than simply sliding in to the booth at the local Olive Garden, but in the end both your pocket book and your family will thank you for it.

The secret to cooking copycat recipes at home and having them turn out right is two fold. It basically comes down to ingredients and equipment. To illustrate the point, one very famous restaurant recipe that people often try and cook at home is the secret KFC chicken recipe. If you've ever tried this than you probably found your self saying, "now this is good, but it sure doesn't taste like Kentucky Fried Chicken." This recipe is one of the most common requests I get from my restaurant recipe newsletter and it is one that people have the most problems with. But as mentioned above, the reason most people get this recipe wrong is because of improper ingredients and equipment.

For example, KFC chicken is cooked in a pressure cooker. This is a simple but huge difference. You could take an actual piece of battered KFC chicken and throw it in your fry pan or deep fryer and you would get something completely different.

The other secret to cooking restaurant recipes is ingredients. Let's just face it, many chain restaurants make food that is loaded with preservatives and ingredients that you don't often find in the grocery store. They may not be healthy but often they taste good. This is where you need to make a personal choice as to whether or not you want to modify the recipe and loose some of the traditional taste but improve its health, or seek out the guar gums, MSG, and poly-saturated fats and include them in your recipe.

The only other obstacle to making great restaurant recipes at home is actually finding a good copy of your favorite Top Secret Restaurant Recipe.

Feel free to browse my recipe database at Restaurant Recipes Exposed.

Free Soul Food Recipes Update - How Soul Food is Winning Health Experts Praise

Soul food recipes is one of the last things you would credit with helping drive an economic recovery but it's ringing true more and more on close examination. With the Great recession continuing to roll along like the Mississippi river, people continue to look for ways to cut, slice and stretch their money. More specifically their food dollars.

African Americans have been hit hardest by the recession, far more than any other racial group. But the one advantage that have helped them cope is soul food. This southern cuisine has brought African Americans through slavery, Jim Crowism, the Civil Rights Era and now through the Great Recession. This food has a long and glorious history that can't be denied.

1. Reason Behind This Trend

Now the legacy continues as more people have rediscovered cooking at home again. To save money, more families are eating around the table again, getting to know one another again and saving money at the same time. According to a University of California study, a family of four can save up to 74% off their monthly food bill by eating meals at home as opposed to eating out.

For example, if a family of four ate at a restaurant the average cost would be around $30. But if that family made the same comparable meal at home it would cost them around $12.34. Plus, they would have around $3.32 worth of leftovers or seconds. That's a huge savings. That's why more African Americans are flooding free soul food recipe websites lately. They've discovered a way to help survive this recession.

More site publishers are recognizing this trend and providing more user friendly features to their websites. Many are adding instructional videos, cooking classes and video newsletters to help the new as well as experienced cooks. You'll find most of the soul food recipes of today is not your Grandma's recipes.

2. Examples of New Changes Taking Place

Today's dishes are more health friendly than in the past. Traditional southern food have had the questionable reputation of being loaded with calories, salt and fat. Now you'll find healthier recipes that have cut the salt, fat and calories but have kept the taste and flavor. Thanks to creative cooks, food processors and publishers, healthier recipes have now arrived.

For example, fat back, ham hocks and bacon is slowly fading away. Now you'll find healthier seasonings, such as natural herbs and spices. Soul food recipes today call for onion and garlic powder, lemon and lime juices, chili peppers, smoked turkey and a host of other natural herbs. All these changes have resulted in healthier eating. A change many health experts are pleased with.

Another major change is found in healthier cooking techniques. You'll find less frying and more baking, steaming, roasting and grilling in the recipes. Where frying is found you'll mostly see pan frying and stir-frying, which preserves over 79% of food nutrients, and less deep fat frying.

All these changes have helped to bring back many people who were forced to cut back and cut out soul food for health reasons. In addition, these healthier changes have helped to win new consumers to the joys of this traditional southern cuisine. No doubt, as the changes continue to grow consumer interest will grow also.

To show that Japanese food recipes are easy to follow, we will look at how these two are prepared.

Teriyaki sauce is an example of a Japanese food recipe that's easy to follow. There are plenty of foods that use teriyaki sauce, and it is certainly a great addition to meats, giving it a tangy and sweet taste. You will need a half cup of soy sauce and a half cup of mirin, or Japanese cooking wine. Pour both into a pan and stir. Put it in low heat and let simmer for a couple of minutes. Let cool and place into a jar. Pour onto beef or chicken for a sweet sauce.

Many people cannot resist tempura. This is good food that can be eaten as part of a meal, or even as a snack. Best of all, tempura batter can be done so easily. All you need is an egg, a cup of ice water, and a cup of all-purpose flour. Beat the egg in a bowl and add the ice water in. Slowly add in the sifted flour and mix lightly. Quick and Easy Food Recipes and How to Get Them!

How much money do you think you spend each week on eating out? If you are like me it is a ton! If not then congrats on a job well done! (Give yourself a nice pat on the back eh?!)

I used to spend way too much money on restaurants, and with the recent economy my whole family was really beginning to feel it. The thing is it is not like I did not enjoy cooking, in fact I love cooking!

I just am not that great of a chef.

So I began to look around and try to save money on restaurants, what I really needed though was some quick and easy food recipes to get me going.

I cut out a few from different magazines but it seemed to be really hit and miss, and honestly a bit more of the miss according to my family. I kept looking on wishing that I had got that cooking Gene that seemed to be in my family.

While talking to friends however I found that I am not the only one who has this problem. I learned a few good tips and here is my favorite.

Make sure to plan ahead. Every week make a meal plan, do this at the beginning of the week at the same time. This way you can get all of your shopping done and have everything outlined in nice and easy ways. This way also when you have those quick and easy food recipes they won't go to waste when you are looking for the eggs you forgot to buy.

In conclusion I believe the best place to get easy food recipes is not in magazines but in cook books or from parents. Magazines generally just use cheap recipes that take a lot of work and are not all that useful.

Instead invest in a good cookbook.

Now if you want quick and easy food recipes just check out the little lens I made here. It is all about a great cookbook.

Come Participate in the polls and check it all out I bet you will love it, leave me a comment too!
