This tropical fruit's tough purple skin hides a tangy tasting and beautifully perfumed pulp that's perfect spooned over pavlovas and fruit salads.

Passionfruit freezes well - spoon the pulp into ice-cube trays and cover with foil.It's an excellent source of vitamin C and a good source of iron and beta-carotene.It tastes great with rum, mint, vanilla, bananas, yoghurt, coconut and ice-cream.
